As more teams started using Mantis in real production projects, a few things became clear. Structure matters. Layout consistency matters. Small inconsistencies add up over time.
This update focuses mainly on providing pre-defined prompts, tightening those foundations, from containers and layouts to internal code structure so Mantis holds up better as projects grow.
Why this update was needed?
The way people build with Mantis has changed.
A lot of teams now use AI tools to generate pages, layouts, and components on top of the template. That mostly worked, but it also meant spending extra time fixing prompts so the output matched the project structure.
As projects grew, small layout issues started to show up. Containers behaved slightly differently. Spacing needed manual fixes. Nothing was broken, but keeping things consistent took more effort than it should have.
On top of that, upgrading to ESLint v10 pushed us to revisit the internal structure of Mantis. Instead of applying quick fixes, we thought of cleaning things up properly to keep the codebase maintainable going forward.
